1. Define the geography before reading the numbers
The U.S. Census Bureau records Jesup as a municipality in Wayne County, Georgia, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 9,942 and a margin of error of 20. That is population information, not evidence of legal demand, search volume, competition, leads or revenue. It does establish why your dashboard should not silently treat “Jesup,” “Wayne County” and a broader Georgia service area as the same reporting segment. A location label can affect how you interpret a call, form or ranking, but it does not prove that a matter came from that place.
Recommended approach
Before evaluating return, write down the geographic definitions you want to see: Jesup city, Wayne County, other named locations and any statewide coverage. Ask how each location would be assigned to a lead and how ambiguous records would be handled. Treat the Census geography as a boundary-setting reference, not a forecast.
