1. Start with the Columbus service boundary
Columbus city and Muscogee County are related but not interchangeable geographic labels. A page or campaign that refers to Columbus should not automatically be treated as countywide coverage, and a county reference should not be presented as a city result. The same distinction matters when you review lead records: the location associated with a person, a matter or a landing page is not necessarily the same as the firm’s intended service area. The Census records Columbus as a municipality in Muscogee County, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 203,711. That is eligibility context only. It does not establish search demand, competition, legal need, conversion rates or case value.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic labels you want reviewed before interpreting attribution. Ask whether reports should separate Columbus from other Muscogee County locations, and decide which locations belong in page, intake and outcome analysis. Do not use population as a proxy for lead volume.
