Start with Auburn’s actual service boundary
Auburn is a municipality in Georgia. The Census Bureau’s 2020–2024 ACS five-year estimate records 8,711 residents, with a margin of error of 99, and records relationships with Barrow County and Gwinnett County. That population figure is eligibility context only; it does not establish call volume, legal demand, language preference, competition or staffing needs. Your intake design should therefore begin with the geographic scope you actually serve. Decide whether a caller from Auburn, Barrow County, Gwinnett County or another Georgia location receives the same first response. Keep city, county, judicial circuit and court class distinct when you describe services or route matters. Georgia Courts publishes resources for citizens and legal professionals, but those resources do not make every geographic or court label interchangeable.
Recommended approach
Write a service-area rule for the answering system and have your firm review it. Include the locations you accept, the locations you do not accept, and the point at which a staff member must confirm venue or eligibility. Do not use Auburn’s population as a proxy for expected demand.
