1. Make location questions precise
A caller may identify with Southchase, refer to Orange County, or describe another location connected to an incident, court, workplace or residence. Those references are not interchangeable. Southchase is a CDP; Orange County is the recorded county relationship. The available Census source does not establish which locations your callers use or whether location affects eligibility for a matter. Your firm should therefore review whether intake staff ask a clear location question and capture the answer without treating one geographic label as proof of jurisdiction or fit.
Recommended approach
Use Intake Coach to review whether calls distinguish the caller’s location, the event location and any jurisdiction that the responsible attorney needs to assess. Treat the coaching as an operational review, not a legal-jurisdiction determination.
