1. Eligibility comes before campaign planning
Google says Local Services screening varies by service category, country and whether a provider advertises directly or through an affiliate. Checks may include business, owner or service-professional background checks, license checks, insurance checks and advanced verification. Google also states that Local Services Ads must meet applicable screening, verification and advertising requirements and must not use misleading representation. Those rules do not establish that a particular Riviera Beach law firm is eligible or verified. Florida Bar advertising guidance is a separate resource for Florida lawyers; it is appropriate to have the responsible attorney review advertising decisions, but this page does not certify compliance.
Recommended approach
Treat eligibility as a decision gate. Assemble the information Google requests for the actual firm, category and location, then verify current requirements before budgeting around the program. Have the responsible attorney review profile language, representations and any other advertising material in light of Florida guidance. If an eligibility point is unresolved, record it as unresolved rather than treating a proposed campaign as ready.
