1. Start with eligibility, not the badge
Google says Local Services screening varies by service category, country and whether a provider advertises directly or through an affiliate. Applicable checks may include business, owner or service-professional background checks, license checks, insurance checks and other verification. Google also states that Local Services Ads remain subject to its advertising policies and Local Services requirements. A Princeton location does not, by itself, prove that a law firm qualifies, will receive a Google Screened badge or can advertise every practice area. Bosseo’s published product information describes support around Google screening and verification, but the account’s current requirements still need to be checked.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to review the actual firm, category, documents, account status and proposed location before treating launch as available. Have the responsible Florida attorney review advertising decisions and consult the Florida Bar’s advertising guidance and resources. Treat screening as a gate to verify, not as a promised outcome.
