1. Local geography needs to be treated as evidence, not a conclusion
the Census record identifies On Top of the World CDP in Marion County, Florida, and reports a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 16,007. That is useful context for defining a place-based measurement question. It does not show that residents are searching for a particular legal service, that a page is ranking, or that a visitor from the CDP is the right prospective client for every campaign. A law firm may also target people outside the CDP while receiving visits from people inside it. Those are different dimensions.
Recommended approach
Review reporting that keeps visitor location separate from the market, city or service page being targeted. Ask whether your records can answer both questions without treating a geographic observation as proof of demand.
