1. Separate Medulla visitors from the market you target
A visitor’s location and the market a campaign targets are not the same fact. Someone may view a Medulla-focused page while traveling, living elsewhere or considering a firm for a different location. Conversely, a prospective client outside Medulla may be relevant to a firm that serves Polk County or a broader Florida market. Lead Attribution is intended to preserve the city or product landing page, campaign and referrer while separating visitor location from the market targeted. This distinction matters because Medulla is a CDP recorded in Polk County; the Census record does not establish the boundaries of your service area or the location of every potential client.
Recommended approach
Decide which geographic labels your intake and reporting need: Medulla, Polk County, other Florida locations, or another service area. Do not treat a Medulla visit as proof that the visitor is a Medulla resident or that the matter belongs to a particular local market.
