1. Keep Lighthouse Point and Broward County distinct
A caller may describe a matter as being in Lighthouse Point, elsewhere in Broward County, or outside the firm’s service area. Those are different intake facts. The Census record identifies Lighthouse Point as a municipality and records its county relationship as Broward County. It does not establish that every prospective client in the county is appropriate for the firm, or that a city caller should be handled differently solely because of residence. Intake Coach supports review of key facts extracted from conversations, including jurisdictions, dates, deadlines, and other matter details. That makes geographic fit a question to verify during intake rather than an assumption based on a city name.
Recommended approach
Define the firm’s actual service boundary and escalation rules before reviewing scores. Ask staff to distinguish the caller’s location, the incident or dispute location, the relevant court or agency, and any deadline. Have the responsible attorney approve the rubric and referral or decline language.
