1. Separate visitor location from the market you intend to serve
A visitor associated with Lake Butler is not automatically a Lake Butler-targeted lead. A person may live in Lake Butler, travel through the area, respond to a broader Orange County campaign or visit a page aimed at another service area. Conversely, a market-targeted page may attract visitors whose location does not match the page title. Treating those facts as interchangeable can distort decisions about local coverage and advertising. Lead Attribution is positioned to preserve the city or product landing page and the campaign context, while allowing the firm to review visitor location separately from the market targeted.
Recommended approach
When evaluating the service, ask Bosseo to show how your reporting would label the visitor’s apparent location, the intended market, the legal-service page and the eventual inquiry. Do not use the Census population estimate as a forecast of demand. Use it only as context for defining the geographic question your firm wants the data to answer.
