1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The Census source identifies Immokalee CDP and its relationship to Collier County. A dashboard should not silently treat the CDP, the county, a neighboring city or a broader metropolitan area as interchangeable. For a firm serving Immokalee, the useful management question is which geographic cohorts the firm has chosen to evaluate—not what the population figure supposedly predicts. Bosseo’s published product information describes city and case-type reporting, while Bosseo’s product approach specifically calls for separating Miami, Miami-Dade and neighboring city cohorts. Those named cohorts should not be substituted for Immokalee or Collier County without a deliberate scope decision.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing performance, write down the geographic labels that matter to the firm: Immokalee, Collier County and any other locations the firm intentionally serves. Ask Bosseo how those labels will be represented and require unknown or unavailable geography to remain visible rather than being assigned to a location by assumption.
