1. Make city and county location questions useful
A caller may identify with Hunters Creek, another Orange County community, or a broader service area. Those labels can matter to routing and practice fit, but they do not by themselves establish jurisdiction, venue, eligibility, or whether the firm should accept a matter. Intake Coach is designed to coach on city versus county distinctions, so your team can ask a useful location question and record the answer without turning geography into an unsupported conclusion. The Census record identifies Hunters Creek CDP and its recorded relationship to Orange County; it does not say where a caller’s incident, court, property, employer, or opposing party is located.
Recommended approach
Review whether your intake conversations distinguish the caller’s residence from the location of the legal issue. Decide which location facts your responsible attorney needs before a consultation, referral, or decline. Use coaching to identify missed or unclear location questions rather than assuming that a Hunters Creek caller presents an Orange County matter.
