1. Start with eligibility, not an assumed badge
Google states that Local Services screening varies by service category, country and provider structure. Checks may include business, owner or professional background checks, license checks, insurance checks and advanced verification. Google also requires advertisers to satisfy applicable screening and advertising requirements. Those rules do not establish that a particular Gulf Breeze law firm qualifies, so a firm should not treat Google Screened status as automatic. Florida-specific advertising review also matters: The Florida Bar publishes advertising guidance, filing resources and checklists. That guidance should be reviewed with the attorney responsible for the firm’s advertising decisions.
Recommended approach
Make account, category and location eligibility the first decision gate. Gather the information Google currently requires for the actual account, then have the responsible attorney review the proposed profile and advertising approach under applicable Florida guidance. Bosseo can help evaluate the screening path and the information needed for review, but it should not be presented as certifying eligibility or legal compliance.
