1. Make Estero geography an attribution question, not an assumption
A visitor’s location, the location targeted by a campaign and the location named on a landing page are not interchangeable. Estero is recorded as a municipality in Lee County, Florida, but that geographic fact cannot tell you whether an individual is a viable prospect or whether a particular page generated demand. Lead Attribution is intended to preserve the page, channel, referrer and session context so your team can review what actually happened. It should help you ask whether an inquiry came through an Estero-focused page, another Florida page, a referral or a paid source, rather than treating every local visit as an Estero matter.
Recommended approach
Before adopting the product, list the geographic distinctions your firm needs to review: visitor location, market targeted, landing-page geography and the geography relevant to the matter. Ask Bosseo to show how those distinctions would appear in the proposed attribution review. Do not use the Census population estimate as a forecast.
