1. Separate Deltona location from market targeting
A visitor’s location and your intended market are not interchangeable. A person may visit from outside Deltona after seeing a page targeted to Deltona, while someone physically in Deltona may arrive through a page for another market. Lead Attribution’s stated angle is to separate visitor location from the market targeted. That distinction matters when you review a Deltona landing page or campaign: the page’s geography is one data point, not proof that the visitor, matter or eventual client belongs to the same geography. The Census record establishes Deltona as a municipality in Volusia County, but it does not establish which legal services residents seek or how they find firms.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic fields you want reviewed before making budget decisions. At minimum, distinguish the market named by a page or campaign from the visitor’s location and from the location ultimately relevant to the matter. Ask Bosseo to demonstrate how those distinctions appear in a lead journey and what information is excluded from analytics.
