1. Start with the correct Cypress Lake geography
the Census record identifies Cypress Lake as the Cypress Lake CDP in Lee County, Florida. A CDP is not the same thing as a city, county or metropolitan area. A page targeting “Cypress Lake” should therefore not silently substitute Miami, Miami-Dade, another independent city or a broad Florida market. The population estimate—13,032 for the 2020–2024 ACS 5-year period—is useful for describing the place, but it does not establish how many people search for a lawyer, how competitive a query is or whether a page will generate a matter.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to map the firm’s actual service area before choosing coverage. Decide whether Cypress Lake belongs in a Lee County footprint, a broader Florida footprint or a narrower set of places the firm intentionally serves. Keep the geographic label, county relationship and service-area language consistent across page titles, copy, metadata and contact information. Treat any proposed city list as a scope decision for attorney review—not as evidence of demand.
