1. Start with Google eligibility, not an assumed badge
Google says Local Services screening varies by service category, country and whether a provider advertises directly or through an affiliate. Depending on the applicable requirements, checks may include business, owner or service-professional background checks, license checks, insurance checks and advanced verification. Google also requires advertisers to satisfy applicable Local Services requirements and advertising policies. Those sources do not establish that a particular Conway law firm is eligible, screened or verified. They also do not establish that a Google Screened badge will be issued.
Recommended approach
Before deciding on spend, have the responsible attorney and account owner verify the current requirements for the firm, its practice category and its intended service area. Treat screening as a qualification question. Bosseo can review the available account information and help organize the LSA decision, but the firm should not represent itself as screened or verified until Google confirms that status.
