1. Define what “ROI” means for your Washington practice
The Census Bureau records Washington as a municipality in the District of Columbia and estimates its 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population at 681,294. That is eligibility and geographic context, not evidence of legal demand, competition, lead volume or revenue. Your dashboard therefore needs definitions that match your own operating decisions rather than treating population as a marketing result. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes rankings, calls, leads, case types, forms, intakes, source attribution, reviews and revenue-related signals. It also describes leads as contacts classified as Potential New Client, with Current Client and Other categories separated.
Recommended approach
Before a review, write down which events your firm considers a qualified inquiry, an accepted intake, a signed matter and collected revenue. Ask how each event would appear, who can correct a classification and whether historical changes are visible. Do not approve a dashboard merely because it displays a large number of contacts.
