1. Make the geographic question precise before measuring performance
Farmington is recorded by the Census Bureau as a municipal town in Connecticut, with a county relationship to the Capitol Planning Region. Your firm may serve Farmington alone, the wider region, or another defined Connecticut footprint. Those are different measurement scopes. A report that combines Farmington with every Connecticut inquiry can obscure which geographic coverage is producing qualified opportunities. Population alone cannot establish demand, competition, calls, cases or revenue. Lead Attribution should therefore be evaluated around the geography your firm actually accepts and serves, rather than around a population-based assumption.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic labels that matter to your firm before reviewing attribution: Farmington, the Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut, or another service boundary you choose. Then ask whether journeys and outcomes can be reviewed by the relevant landing page, channel and case type without treating the Census population as a forecast.
