1. Put East Haddam’s geography in the measurement plan
The U.S. Census Bureau records East Haddam as a municipal town in Connecticut, within the Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 8,969, with a margin of error of 19. That is context for defining a local reporting view; it does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, leads or revenue. A dashboard should therefore distinguish East Haddam from the planning region, the state and any other places a firm serves. It should also distinguish a person, a household, a call and a matter. The Bosseo page says the dashboard can show rankings by service-and-city target, leads by case type and city data. Those labels should be reviewed with your firm rather than treated as proof of market opportunity.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how an East Haddam view would be separated from Connecticut-wide and other geographic views, and agree which geographic field governs each decision.
