1. Define what “Cos Cob” means for your campaign
Cos Cob is recorded by the Census Bureau as the Cos Cob CDP, in Connecticut’s Western Connecticut Planning Region. Your firm may serve the CDP itself, the wider planning region, or additional Connecticut locations. Those are different geographic choices, and an LSA profile should not treat them as interchangeable. The population estimate can help identify the place being discussed, but it cannot establish how many people search for a lawyer or how many inquiries an advertisement will produce.
Recommended approach
Start with a written service-area decision: which locations may generate a qualified inquiry, which locations are outside your practical coverage, and whether each practice area has different boundaries. Review the address and service-area settings in the Google profile rather than assuming that a Cos Cob reference automatically covers every nearby community.
