Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Clinton is recorded as a municipal town, and its county relationship is listed as the Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region. That distinction matters when configuring a Local Services Ads profile. Clinton is not automatically the same thing as every surrounding community, the entire planning region or all of Connecticut. A service area should reflect the locations your firm is prepared to serve, not a geographic assumption based on the town’s population. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description identifies category and geography targeting as part of program management.
Recommended approach
Bring your accepted service locations, office or meeting arrangements, travel limits and excluded areas to the consultation. Ask how those boundaries would affect profile configuration and which inquiries should be treated as out of area. Keep Clinton-specific intent separate from broader Connecticut coverage so you can evaluate whether expanded geography produces matters your firm can actually handle.
