1. Set geographic coverage around the matters you accept
Bristol’s recorded geographic relationship is the Naugatuck Valley Planning Region. That does not mean every inquiry from the region is appropriate for your firm, and it does not establish that a campaign should cover the entire planning region. Local Services Ads should instead reflect the locations your firm is prepared to serve and the matter types it is prepared to review. The relevant questions are practical: Will you accept inquiries from Bristol only, from additional Connecticut locations, or from a defined service area? Are distance, court location, or consultation format important to screening? Which inquiries should be disputed as outside the accepted geography?
Recommended approach
Start with a written service-area boundary and an intake rule for location. Separate Bristol from any additional area under consideration so results can be reviewed by geography. Do not expand coverage because the city population appears large or because a neighboring location sounds promising; expand only after reviewing qualified inquiries, staff capacity and matter fit.
