Set Windsor’s reporting boundary before reading the numbers
Windsor is a Colorado municipality recorded in the 2020–2024 ACS five-year data with an estimated population of 37,914 and a margin of error of 63. The town has recorded county relationships with Larimer County and Weld County. That information establishes a geographic frame; it does not establish legal demand, competition, search volume, leads, cases or revenue. A dashboard review should therefore distinguish Windsor from either county, from Colorado as a whole and from any metropolitan-area reporting. Ask which location labels appear beside rankings, calls, leads and source data. A county-level result should not be presented as a Windsor result, and a Colorado-wide keyword footprint should not be treated as proof of local performance.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geography policy to the consultation. Decide whether your firm wants Windsor-only reporting, county reporting, statewide reporting or multiple views, and require each view to retain its geographic label. Use the dashboard to compare defined areas rather than treating Windsor’s population as a forecast.
