1. Define the numbers before you judge performance
The dashboard page describes rankings, calls, leads and matters as connected measures. It also describes lead classification, case-type tagging and source attribution. Those labels only help if your firm agrees on what counts as a potential new client, a current client, a matter, a signed case and revenue. A Redlands firm may serve clients across Mesa County or elsewhere in Colorado, so “Redlands” should not silently stand for every geographic result. The Census relationship is specific: Redlands is a CDP in Mesa County. It does not establish the boundaries of your service area.
Recommended approach
Before adopting the dashboard, write down the geographic and business definitions you want to see. Decide whether Redlands, Mesa County and broader Colorado coverage are separate reporting views. Ask how case types, current clients, vendors, spam, forms and calls will be distinguished. Treat any dashboard total as a decision aid only after the underlying definition is clear.
