1. Start with Delta’s actual service boundary
Your firm may serve people in Delta, elsewhere in Delta County or across a broader Colorado territory. Those are different geographic decisions. Census data identifies Delta as a municipality and records its county relationship as Delta County; it does not show where prospective clients search, live, work or need counsel. Video Intake should therefore begin with the locations your firm is prepared to serve, not with an assumption that city population equals prospective inquiries.
Recommended approach
Write down the geographic rules that should appear in the intake flow. Decide whether a visitor from Delta, another Delta County community or another Colorado location should receive the same path, a different path or a request for clarification. During a consultation, review whether the proposed routing reflects your licensure, office coverage and stated service area. Do not use the 9,421 population estimate as a forecast of demand.
