1. Start with the site you actually need to run
A hosting decision should begin with an inventory, not a server label. Identify the current website platform, domains, DNS records, SSL arrangements, email dependencies, databases, forms, scripts, analytics and any third-party services that affect public pages or inquiries. Include every location and service page that represents your Delta County practice area. Delta city and Delta County are not interchangeable geographic labels, so your inventory should also distinguish pages intended for the city from pages intended for the wider county or Colorado. The Census record establishes Delta city’s municipality and county relationship; it does not tell you how many people search for legal help or which pages will perform.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to review the current hosting arrangement and map the assets that must remain available during a possible migration. Require a written list of assumptions, exclusions and approvals before deciding whether Dedicated Hosting is appropriate.
