1. Define the geography before reading the numbers
The Census records Berkley as a CDP in Adams County, Colorado. That distinction matters because a dashboard can contain city, county, metropolitan-area and statewide views, while those areas are not interchangeable. Population eligibility does not establish that residents are searching for a particular practice area or that a firm will receive matters from the area. Before relying on a location figure, ask what geographic unit a keyword, call, form or matter represents. A city label should not silently become a county conclusion.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels are presented for ranking, lead and case-type views. Decide which geography belongs in partner reporting, and record whether a matter is attributed to a location because of a search, a landing page, a caller’s statement or another rule. Keep Berkley, Adams County, the metropolitan area and Colorado separate when reviewing performance.
