1. Define what “Valley Center” means in the dashboard
Valley Center CDP is recorded in San Diego County. That relationship matters when you review location fields: a Valley Center inquiry is not automatically the same as a countywide inquiry, and a county result is not evidence about the CDP alone. The dashboard page says it can show keyword rankings by service-and-city target, city data, calls, leads and case types. Before relying on those views, ask how the location attached to a ranking, call or lead is defined. Also ask whether the report separates Valley Center from other places your firm serves. The Census population estimate supplies geographic context only; it does not establish that residents are searching for a particular practice area.
Recommended approach
Agree on geographic definitions before reviewing performance. At minimum, decide which records count as Valley Center, which belong to San Diego County more broadly, and which should be treated as outside the local view. Ask to see how those definitions appear in the dashboard and in any source-attribution view.
