1. Turn a vague website inquiry into a clearer first conversation
A conventional form may produce only a name, contact detail and short description. Bosseo’s public Video Intake page describes a guided video survey that asks one question at a time and qualifies inquiries by case type, urgency and fit. The page also describes completed intakes arriving with answers attached, so the first conversation can begin with the visitor’s information rather than the same basic questions being asked again. For a Stanford firm, the relevant question is not how many people live in the CDP. It is whether the site currently gives prospective clients enough structure to explain the type of help they are seeking.
Recommended approach
Review your current contact form and identify the information your team must obtain before deciding whether to respond. Separate essential screening questions from questions better reserved for a consultation. Then decide which of those questions belong in a guided website path and which should remain for staff review.
