Define the geography before you judge the numbers
South Gate is a municipality in Los Angeles County. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year estimate records 91,483 residents, with a margin of error of 36. That population figure describes the city; it does not establish legal demand, search activity, competition, leads, cases or revenue. A dashboard review should therefore distinguish South Gate city from the rest of Los Angeles County rather than treating every county result as a South Gate result. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says the dashboard can show keyword rankings, case-type data and city data. That makes geographic definitions an implementation question: which targets are labeled South Gate, which are labeled elsewhere in Los Angeles County, and which are broader California targets?
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how a South Gate target would be named, filtered and separated from countywide or statewide measurements. Do not approve a report structure until the firm agrees on the geographic labels it will use in partner discussions and budget reviews.
