1. Define the geography before you interpret the numbers
South El Monte and Los Angeles County are not interchangeable reporting scopes. The Census record identifies South El Monte city as a municipality within Los Angeles County, with an estimated population of 19,287 for the 2020–2024 ACS 5-year period and a margin of error of 96. That figure does not establish search demand, competition, leads, cases or revenue. It does, however, make geographic definitions worth settling before a dashboard review. Ask whether a ranking, call, form or matter is being attributed to South El Monte specifically, to a wider Los Angeles County service area, or to another location selected by your firm. A location label should describe the reporting scope rather than imply that every contact came from the city.
Recommended approach
Bring a written list of the places your firm intends to evaluate. Separate South El Monte from Los Angeles County and from any broader California or metropolitan-area reporting. During the consultation, ask Bosseo to show how location fields appear in the dashboard and what decision each geographic view is meant to support.
