1. Set the geography before reading the totals
A Shasta Lake firm needs a clear geographic definition before it interprets a city count. Shasta Lake city and Shasta County are not interchangeable, and neither is automatically the same as a wider service area. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its reporting can show service-and-city keyword targets, case-type data and which cities produce calls. That makes the geographic setup a material decision, not a cosmetic label. A dashboard that combines Shasta Lake with other locations may be useful for a broader practice, but it should not be presented as Shasta Lake performance alone.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how Shasta Lake city, Shasta County and any additional areas would be separated in the reporting. Decide whether the firm wants a city-only view, a county view or both. Keep those views distinct when reviewing calls, leads, rankings and matters. Treat the Census population estimate as context for the municipality—not as a forecast of legal demand.
