1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
A city name is not a client journey. Scotts Valley is recorded as a municipality in Santa Cruz County, and a firm may serve people inside the city, elsewhere in the county, or across a broader California market. Those are different geographic questions. Population is eligibility context only; it cannot show whether a particular practice area has demand or whether a marketing channel produces signed matters. Lead Attribution can show the landing page, channel, referrer and device associated with a lead’s journey, while intake answers and outcomes add context about the inquiry. The decision is whether those records can be interpreted against the geographic scope you actually accept.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing performance, define the service area you want to measure: Scotts Valley alone, Santa Cruz County, a wider regional area, or California more broadly. Ask Bosseo to demonstrate how geography would be interpreted in the lead record and how you would distinguish a Scotts Valley inquiry from an inquiry elsewhere. Do not use the city’s population estimate as a forecast.
