1. Set the geographic boundary before reviewing ROI
The dashboard copy describes movement by service-and-city target and says firms can examine which cities produce calls. For your firm, begin by deciding whether “Palo Alto” means the city itself, a service area that includes other Santa Clara County communities, or a broader California market. Those are different reporting questions. The Census identifies Palo Alto city as a municipality in Santa Clara County. It does not indicate how many people search for legal services or how many will contact a firm. A useful dashboard therefore needs a geographic definition that partners recognize before they interpret a city result.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how city labels, county references and broader service areas would be separated in the proposed review. Do not combine Palo Alto city activity with countywide or statewide activity unless the reporting definition makes that distinction visible.
