1. Start with Ontario’s actual service geography
Ontario is recorded as a municipality in San Bernardino County. That distinction matters when you review attribution. A matter may be associated with an Ontario landing page, an Ontario office or service area, a referral, a broader California search, or a location outside the city. Those are different dimensions and should not be collapsed into one “Ontario” label. The city’s population estimate—180,547 in the 2020–2024 ACS 5-year data—does not tell you how many people need legal services, how many search for a lawyer, or how many inquiries a firm should expect.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic questions your firm actually needs answered before reviewing reports. You may want to distinguish Ontario from San Bernardino County, separate a service page from a location page, or record the jurisdiction connected to the matter. Ask Bosseo how the proposed attribution view would preserve those distinctions rather than treating every contact associated with the area as the same type of opportunity.
