1. Define the geographic question before reading a number
Montclair’s geographic relationship is specific: it is a municipality in San Bernardino County, California. That distinction matters when a partner asks whether a result belongs to Montclair, the county, another service area or a broader California target. A population estimate cannot answer that question, and it cannot show whether a practice area is producing viable matters. The dashboard page describes tracking for service-and-city targets and says the system can show which cities produce calls. That gives you a useful review question, not a reason to assume that Montclair activity exists or that a city target will perform.
Recommended approach
Set a geographic definition for each review: Montclair city, San Bernardino County, or another approved area. Ask how rankings, calls, forms and leads are assigned to that geography. Do not combine municipality, county and statewide figures in one decision without labeling them.
