1. Set the geographic boundary before reading the numbers
The dashboard page describes rankings and keyword coverage across a firm’s state, while its examples also refer to service-and-city targets and city-level decisions. For a firm serving Marysville, the consultation should distinguish Marysville city from Yuba County, the wider California market and any metropolitan area the firm intentionally serves. Those are not interchangeable reporting labels. A Marysville result should not silently become a Yuba County result, and a county result should not be treated as proof of activity inside the city. The Census record identifies Marysville as a municipality in Yuba County and gives the population estimate; it does not show which legal services residents seek or where clients originate.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location labels will be defined in the dashboard. Decide whether the firm needs separate views for Marysville, Yuba County and broader California coverage. Keep the geographic definition beside each metric so a partner can tell what area a ranking, call or lead represents.
