Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Manhattan Beach is recorded as a municipality in Los Angeles County, California. A dashboard review should therefore distinguish a Manhattan Beach target from a Los Angeles County target, a broader metropolitan target and statewide coverage. Those are different reporting questions. A city label should not silently stand in for the county, and a county result should not be presented as a Manhattan Beach result. The Census population estimate is useful for identifying the place and its county relationship, but it does not establish search volume, competition, legal need, calls, cases or revenue.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels are defined in the dashboard and in any ranking, lead or source-attribution views. Decide which locations belong in your reporting vocabulary before treating a trend as meaningful. Require each location-based view to state its scope clearly, especially when a practice serves both Manhattan Beach and other parts of Los Angeles County.
