1. Set the footprint around the firm’s real service area
Los Alamitos is in Orange County, but a city page should not imply that the firm serves every nearby community or every matter type. The city’s population estimate provides municipal context only. It cannot be used as a proxy for demand or competition. Bosseo’s public product page says the same engine can be scoped to the counties a firm chooses rather than the whole state. That makes the first product-specific question geographic: does the firm want coverage across Orange County, selected California counties, or a broader statewide footprint?
Recommended approach
Bring a current list of offices, service areas, courts, matter types, and intake boundaries to the review. Ask Bosseo to map those boundaries against the proposed city-and-service combinations. Exclude places or services the firm cannot responsibly serve. Treat any wider footprint as a decision to review, not an automatic expansion.
