Start with a Laguna Beach measurement boundary
The first decision is geographic. Laguna Beach city is recorded in Orange County, California, but a firm may serve people in the city, elsewhere in Orange County, or a broader California market. Those are different reporting questions. A dashboard should not silently treat a city, county, metropolitan area, state, household or individual as the same unit. Before reviewing performance, ask which service areas belong in the report and whether a city label means the location of a searcher, a caller, a matter or a page. Bosseo’s public description says its dashboard can show case-type and city data, but the public page does not define every geographic field or attribution rule.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate how Laguna Beach is represented, which other geographic fields are available, and how the firm can distinguish a Laguna Beach inquiry from an Orange County inquiry. Write the selected geography into the dashboard acceptance criteria rather than treating the city’s population as a forecast.
