Start with the La Presa service area, not a generic software brief
La Presa’s recorded geographic relationship is San Diego County. That matters when you describe the firm’s service area, intake coverage and client-facing terminology. It does not justify assuming that every resident is a prospective client or that a particular matter type is more common locally. Custom software should therefore begin with the firm’s actual workflow: where inquiries arrive, who reviews them, what information is required, which matters move forward and which records need to be retained. Bosseo’s public Custom Software page describes discovery around the firm’s bottleneck rather than requiring the firm to arrive with a finished requirements document.
Recommended approach
Before booking, write down one process that repeatedly causes re-entry, waiting or status questions. Include the geographic boundary your staff actually uses for intake, such as La Presa and the rest of San Diego County, only if that boundary is part of your real operating procedure.
