1. Set the footprint around Jackson and Amador County
Bosseo’s public product page says a firm can choose statewide coverage or limit coverage to counties it serves. For a Jackson firm, the first geographic decision is therefore whether Jackson is one city within an Amador County footprint or part of a broader California service area. The Census record identifies Jackson as a municipality in Amador County; it does not establish that the firm serves every community in that county, or that residents are searching for a particular legal service.
Recommended approach
Begin with the firm’s actual service policy. List the counties and cities where the firm accepts matters, then separate locations it serves from locations it merely wants to reach. Ask Bosseo to show how a Jackson page would fit into an Amador County structure and what would change if the firm later selected a wider California footprint. Do not expand coverage solely because a larger map appears attractive.
