1. Start with the journey, not the intake answer
Bosseo’s public Lead Attribution page describes a record that can include the channel, referrer, landing page, device, session detail and intake answers. It also describes calls joining the same journey. That matters when a prospective client reaches a Fontana service page, leaves, returns through another channel and then calls. A handwritten source field may preserve only the caller’s memory, not the path that preceded the call. The product page says attribution can connect the journey to consultation and signed-case outcomes. Those outcomes must be recorded accurately by your firm; attribution does not turn an unverified inquiry into a qualified matter.
Recommended approach
Review whether your current intake record can answer four separate questions: what brought the person to the site, what they told your team, whether the matter fit your practice, and what happened afterward. Keep Fontana and San Bernardino County reporting distinct from any wider service area. Do not use the city’s population estimate as a substitute for those records.
