1. Set the Fairfax geography before reading the numbers
A local dashboard can become misleading when “Fairfax” is treated as interchangeable with Marin County, the wider California market, households or individuals. The Census record identifies Fairfax town as a municipality and records its county relationship as Marin County. It does not establish which geography produces inquiries for your firm. Bosseo’s public page says the dashboard can show rankings, city data, leads and source attribution. Those capabilities make geographic definitions important: a city target, a county service area and a statewide keyword footprint should not be combined into one unexplained total.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geography is named in rankings, lead records and attribution. Decide whether Fairfax should be a distinct reporting segment, part of a Marin County segment, or one location among several. Keep those choices visible in the dashboard and in any review of cost per matter.
