Use East Palo Alto as a defined geography, not a demand claim
The Census record identifies East Palo Alto as a municipality in San Mateo County. For an East Palo Alto firm, that distinction matters when reviewing location reporting: a city target, the county around it and a broader California market are not interchangeable. A population estimate cannot establish how many people search for legal services, how many calls a firm will receive or how many matters it may sign. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says the system can show city data, keyword rankings and leads by case type. The review should therefore test whether the locations and service terms shown match the firm’s actual scope.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate how an East Palo Alto target is separated from San Mateo County and any wider geography. Decide in advance which location labels belong in the dashboard and which would create misleading comparisons.
