Start with Dublin’s actual service area
The Census record identifies Dublin as a municipality in Alameda County. That relationship matters when you define where the firm accepts matters, but it does not establish that every Dublin resident is a potential client or that nearby communities belong in the campaign. Local Services Ads use practice-area categories and service areas, so the useful question is whether the profile reflects the firm’s real geographic coverage. A firm may serve Dublin while also accepting matters elsewhere in Alameda County or declining inquiries outside a narrower area. Those decisions should come from the firm’s intake policy, not from population alone.
Recommended approach
List the locations the firm actually serves, the locations it does not serve and any distance or matter-specific limits. Review those boundaries against the Google profile before choosing a budget. Ask for reporting that distinguishes an inquiry’s location from the location targeted in the profile.
