1. Start with the footprint your firm can actually serve
Bosseo’s public product page says a firm can choose statewide coverage or limit the footprint to selected counties. For a Cupertino firm, the first geographic question is whether the intended service area is Cupertino alone, Santa Clara County, or a broader California footprint. Cupertino’s recorded county relationship is Santa Clara County; that does not mean every city in the county is an appropriate target for every service. A city page should correspond to a place your firm is prepared to serve and describe accurately.
Recommended approach
Bring a current list of practice areas, legal services, office or service locations, courts and jurisdictions you actually handle, and any geographic limits imposed by your firm. Ask Bosseo to map those services against Cupertino and the rest of your proposed footprint before deciding whether county-level or statewide coverage is appropriate.
