1. Define what “Charter Oak” means in your measurement plan
Charter Oak is recorded as a CDP in Los Angeles County, California—not as a county or metropolitan area. That distinction matters when a firm evaluates location reporting. A location label should not silently combine Charter Oak with Los Angeles County, nearby communities or a broader service area. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard description says the system can show keyword rankings, including service-and-city targets, and can report case-type and city data. The buying question is whether your intended geography will be represented consistently enough to support a partner-level decision. The Census population estimate is useful context for identifying the place being discussed, but it cannot serve as a proxy for the number of prospective clients or matters.
Recommended approach
Write down the geographic labels you want reviewed: Charter Oak, Los Angeles County, and any other areas your firm intentionally serves. Ask Bosseo to explain how each label would appear in reporting, what counts as a city target, and how you would distinguish a Charter Oak signal from a county-wide or broader California signal. Treat any broader geography as a separate reporting decision, not an automatic extension of Charter Oak.
