1. Define the Big Bear City view before reviewing performance
The Census record identifies Big Bear City as a CDP in San Bernardino County. That exact relationship matters when deciding what a location view should include. A dashboard question about Big Bear City is not automatically a question about all of San Bernardino County, California, or a metropolitan area. Nor does a population estimate tell you which practice areas people search for or whether they become clients. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes tracking for service-and-city keyword targets and says the dashboard can show which cities produce calls. During review, ask whether Big Bear City should be measured as its own place, alongside county coverage, or within a broader geographic plan. Record the boundary used for each report so a city result is not mistaken for a county result.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic definition to the consultation. Ask to see how a Big Bear City target would be named, separated and compared, and which broader areas would remain outside that view.
